I paid cash for the vehicle and was told multiple times that they weren't going to pull my credit. No reason to, because i wasn't financing. Come to find out they, in fact, did pull my credit, and my score went down 14 points because of it. So not only did they do an unnecessary hard inquiry but they also lied about it. I've never had a dealership do that before.

I miss the Pauly Acura days. My experience with the new ownership has been dismal to say the least. First, you get unwanted and persistent calls from their service department (not on-site) checking to see if you want to make a service appointment. When you ask to be removed from their list, they still call you. When you do make an appointment online, you get a phone call confirming that you want to keep that appointment, and then a 2nd phone call a few days later making extra sure you want to keep it. Then at the dealership, the service department tries to sell you on un-needed repairs, they have inflated prices for oil changes ($130 for a filter and 5 quarts of 0W20), and they have the gall to charge a 3% fee to pay with a credit card???
Sorry Acura of Highland Park, you just lost another long-time customer of this location. I will give my business to McGrath Acura of Libertyville for now on. I suggest others do the same.
While the car was available in the time the service advisor stated, an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation with a reservation seems excessive.
